Art celebrated his 40th year in the contract technical staffing business in 2008.
Starting in 1967, Art worked as a contract designer for various clients around Northeast Ohio. His career in sales and management began, in 1976, with Butler International. Then, in 1980, Art joined the national technical staffing agency, Salem Technical Services, where he went from Regional Manager to being named President of Salem in 1989. Salem was sold to H.L. Yoh Co., in 1992, and as part of the acquisition, it was written into the purchase agreement that Art remain on-board. Serving Yoh as Senior Vice President, he oversaw eastern operations in excess of $100 million annually. In 1996, Art left Yoh to partner in CPI of Ohio LLC.
Throughout his career he has been focused on operations and sales. He has sustained major accounts over long periods of time through outstanding delivery of service to his customers. He continues to look for new, creative ways to package and present Advancement LLC as a uniquely different offering. Advancement LLC has an excellent staff that supports its operations with a long tenure (8-plus years on average, which is unusual for the contract staffing business).
Dave Winterich is the General Manager of Engineering and Staffing Services for Advancement LLC. Dave has over 20 years of experience in the industry focused on management and sales operations. He began his career as a recruiter with Centerline Design (Nesco Design Services) as well as working in senior management roles with national staffing firms across the country including TAD Technical Services, now Adecco. In 1997, Dave started A.T. & Associates, which focused on technical staffing as well as executive search and earned many major projects along with awards for “Best Practice Hiring.” Throughout his career, Dave has been focused on operations and business development with a track record of outstanding delivery and service to clients. He has in-depth knowledge in all aspects of staffing along with providing cost-effective solutions and quality service to support the ever-changing needs of employers.
Dave joined Advancement LLC in January 2009, as Controller and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in April 2009. He is responsible for overseeing all finance functions including budgeting, cost containment, cash management, and internal and external reporting. Dave is a CPA in Ohio with many years of financial leadership experience in hi-tech product manufacturing as well as engineering services. He has served previous employers as Finance Manager, Controller, and Director of Finance. He is a Cleveland native and has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Cleveland State University.

Technology Manager, Tim manages all aspects
of IT for Advancement. He has striven to
create high quality, robust, cost-effective
solutions to power the needs of the
business. He takes pride in moving the
company forward with improvements in
technology, security, and infrastructure.
Mr. Baldwin has demonstrated throughout his
career at Advancement the ability to manage
a broad spectrum of technical environments.
He had 5 years of network management
experience before joining Advancement, LLC
in April 2004, and has had additional
training and experience with Microsoft,
Cisco, Linux, and Checkpoint Firewall
Technologies. He has rebuilt the network
from the ground up and now manages all
computer and networking equipment,
databases, web sites, firewalls, network
security, telecommunications, and disaster
recovery. He is relied upon every day to
provide intelligent solutions, maintain
budgets, and the purchasing of equipment and
software.
Mr. Baldwin is also the property manager and ensures that everyone at Advancement has a safe, comfortable, and well maintained facility to work from. He is very proud of his work here and ensures that things are done right the first time.
Ray founded Advancement Corp., in March 1971, maintaining an active involvement in sales, recruiting, and day-to-day management of the business until it was sold. Since selling the company, Ray has remained a valuable recruiting consultant to the new ownership of Advancement LLC.
